Medicare rebates are available for psychological treatment by registered psychologists under the Better Access to Mental Health Care initiate. Eligible individuals can receive up to 10 individual sessions in a calendar year. Rebates through Medicare are available using our Hi-caps system, with your rebate paid directly into your account, which saves you a trip to your local Medicare office.

Most Private Health Insurance funds provide a rebate for psychological sessions and assessmentservices depending on the type and level of cover you have. We encourage you to discuss this with your individual fund.

NDIS funding can be used for some psychological and intervention sessions.
